Narberth 0-2 Neyland Posted by ADMIN on 07 April 2012 21:13:28
Super-sub Andrew Smith repeated his goal scoring cameo of last season for the 1st XI against Narberth this afternoon with a neat finish to ensure Neyland took all 3 points home from Jessie Road. In a controlled performance the Nomads had the best chance of the 1st half but Jeremy Evans failed to find the net from close range and the score was even at the half time interval. Paul Hannon headed home from close range on the hour mark to give the Nomads a deserved lead, then up stepped Smith with 10 minutes remaining to seal the victory.
The Nomads remaining game is on 21st April at home to Monkton.

Killgetty II 2-7 Neyland II Posted by ADMIN on 06 April 2012 17:28:46
The Nomads rounded off their division 5 campaign with another win this time hitting Kilgetty for 7 on Wednesday evening. The Nomads currently sit top of the division with promtion already assured but look likely to miss out on being crowned champions to Hundleton who are 3 points behind the Nomads but have 2 games left to play - both against Killgetty.
Whatever the outcome of Hundleton's remaining fixtures - the Nomads have had a brilliant season and now look forward to the new campaign back in division 4.
