The Nomads 2nd XI travel to the seaside on Saturday to take on Lawrenny. Kick Off is at 14:30 and Jeff Buttons' team are looking for another 3 points to help in their push for promotion.

Neyland had the points snatched away again by a break-away goal 10 mins from time, in this close division 1 encounter. The homeside got off to the worst possible start conceeding a goal after just 90 seconds, this was closely followed by a further 2 goals, and it did not improve until the 40th minute when Wayne Parry fired in from close range leaving it 1-3 at the interval. Playing with the wind the Nomads dominated possesion in the second period and eventually clawed their way back into the game with goals from Mike Chandler and Parry's second of the game. However with the homesters pushing for a winner a breakaway allowed Clarby to snatch the points at the death. The Nomads will look to settle the score in the reverse fixture next weekend.

Neyland were held to a draw in this top of the table division 5 clash last Saturday at Hundleton. The home side took an early lead which was cancelled out by Andrew Smith's penalty kick 10 mins into the 2nd half. The home scored a second shortly after, but Sean Hannon got a touch on a shot to deflect the ball to score a second equalizer.
Both sides remain at the top of the table with the Nomads holding a slender 1 point advantage still, the Nomads travel to Cosheston next Saturday in the Cup, so all the support that can be mustered will be appreciated.

The Nomads slumped to another defeat at home to a much improved Haverfordwest County side at the Athletic Ground on Saturday afternoon. The Nomads were 2-0 down at the interval and when Steve Peterson rifled in a 20yard drive midway through the second half it looked like a revival was on, but a goalkeeping error gifted the Bluebirds a third goal to give them the points.
