Sunday 7th February.
Bwlch Rangers of the Carmathenshire League put an end to the WW Cup exploits of the Nomads for this season yesterday afternoon winning 5-2 in Llanelli. The Nomads got off to the worse possible start conceeding a goal from a spectacular overhead kick for the home side within the 1st 5 mins. By the break it was 3-0 to Bwlch. But after a change in formation seeing the Nomads revert to 3 at the back, the added attacking pressure allowing Joe Durrant score with his 1st touch after coming on as a substitute. Wayne Parry then added a second to put us in for a grandstand finale. With Neyland pushing forward the home side added a fourth after a quick break away. The final goal came after the award of a penalty to the home side, the only question still unanswered is "what was it given for?" even the home side manager was bemused by the referees descision. Neyland take on Clarbeston Road next week in the league.

Nomads Put 4 Past The Swifts.
Sunday 24th January.
For the first time in 2010 the Nomads 1st XI were able to play a fixture, Monkton Swifts were the visitors to the Athletic Ground for this 1st Division fixture. The first half saw the Nomads hit the crossbar twice and the upright as well, but at half-time it looked like it was going to be one of those days with the score being 0-0. This changed shortly after the break when Andrew Kemp met a Joe Charlton corner with his head to put the Nomads 1 up after only 2 mins. Paul Hannon then coverted a penalty to make it 2-0. Younger brother Sean then struck a 30 yard drive which swerved in the air to fly through the hands of the Monkton keeper to make it 3-0. Aaron McQuillan added a fourth for the Nomads late on to round up the scoring. Next up for the Nomads are Merlins Bridge next Saturday in the Senior Cup.
